David "Woody" Johnson has 28 years experence in law enforcement and investigations. His career includes service with the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Appropriations Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Johnson served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969, where he reached the rank of Captain. Since 1997 he has provided consulting services to government agencies, corporations and law firms in the fields of corporate security, risk assessment, crisis management and events security. During his FBI career, Johnson commanded the Washington Field Office’s SWAT Team and the 60-member full-time Hostage Rescue Team.

He has also served in a policy position at the Drug Enforcement Administration and as the policy and program administrator for the FBI’s national drug investigative program.
Johnson headed the FBI Office in Atlanta, leading planning and operational aspects of the security requirements for the 1996 Olympic Games.
